The Wild Alpacas of Camp Hill, Alabama.

Excited to welcome our newest rescue animals, Outlaw, and Mordecai (proud to say Mordecai was named by son Evan after the falcon in The Royal Tenenbaums).

Outlaw's the handsome, shaggy off-white macho guy in the back; Mordecai the dark brown goofball up in front.

They're just as fun and fluffy and huggable and playful as they look:  both creep up behind me now on tiptoe, then take off running just as they get up close and blast on by me to the barn.  Both rear up like goofy broncos when they hear a sweet scoop of all-stock being scraped up out of the trash-can.  Outlaw thinks he's the tough guy, and lounges out at night in front of their gate until I bring him in - putting up a tough, fluffy front for all the coyotes.

A long way from Peru now, but they seem like a perfect fit; all we can say is hola, y'all.
